BINUS University Recognized Among BRIN’s Top Collaborators 2024

The National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) has recognized 24 Indonesian universities as the Top Collaborators of 2024 for their contributions to joint publications from 2021 to 2024. These collaborative efforts significantly support the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Among the recognized institutions, BINUS University secured the 19th position, contributing 96 scientific publications. A major focus of BINUS University’s research is in Environmental Science (32.29%), aligning with SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-Being) and SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure).

Professor Bens Pardamean, B.Sc., M.Sc., Ph.D., Head of the Bioinformatics & Data Science Research Center (BDSRC) and the Artificial Intelligence Research and Development Center (AIRDC) at BINUS University, was honored with the Top Collaborator 2024 Award for his leadership and contributions to joint publications during the period. His dedication highlights BINUS University’s commitment to advancing research and innovation in bioinformatics and artificial intelligence.

Additionally, Fairuz Iqbal Maulana, S.T., M.T., a Lecturer in the Computer Science Department at BINUS University, also received the Top Collaborator 2024 Award. His contributions to joint publications further emphasize the university’s active role in fostering impactful academic collaborations with BRIN. Together, these achievements underscore BINUS University’s commitment to academic excellence and sustainability through strategic partnerships.
