Transforming Ideas into Writing: A Sharing Session on Academic Insight and Integrity
Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK) organized a sharing session on October 30, 2024, titled “Transforming Ideas into Writing,” held at the Education Center Building of the KPK’s Anti-Corruption Learning Center. The event was attended by editorial board members of Jurnal Integritas and KPK staff, providing a unique forum to delve into creative strategies for idea generation and their translation into impactful writing.
The keynote speaker, Prof. Dr. Juneman Abraham, S.Psi., Vice Rector of Research and Technology Transfer at BINUS University and a peer reviewer for Jurnal Integritas, shared his expertise on the thematic journey of developing ideas for written work. His session emphasized the importance of a methodical approach in refining and expanding ideas, offering practical insights on how to bridge abstract concepts into clear, structured writing. “Saya termasuk pejuang open data dan sebagaimanapun sulitnya mencari data tersebut, ketika sudah saya dapatkan, tentu akan saya bagikan dan orang boleh memanfaatkannya.” Prof Juneman also highlighted about the importance of open data in research, as quoted at kpk.go.id
Through Prof. Abraham’s presentation, participants gained a deeper understanding of the processes behind effective academic writing, including strategies for ideation, organization, and synthesis. His insights provided valuable guidance for KPK staff and Jurnal Integritas editorial members in producing research-driven, high-quality publications that align with the goals of promoting integrity and transparency in public service.
