Academic Excellence Shapes the Second Public Debate for Tangerang Mayoral Candidates

The second public debate for the Mayor and Deputy Mayor candidates of Tangerang, Banten, featured three pairs of candidates, namely Faldo Maldini – Mohammad Fadhlin Akbar (Candidate No. 1), Ahmad Amarullah – Mohamad Bonnie Mufidjar (Candidate No. 2), and Sachrudin – Maryono (Candidate No. 3). The event, aimed at providing voters with deeper insights into the candidates’ platforms, was driven by questions from a panel of distinguished academics, ensuring a high level of discourse.

Among the panelists was Prof. Dr. Juneman Abraham, S.Psi. Vice Rector of Research and Technology Transfer at BINUS University and a prominent figure in the field of psychology, serving as professor social psychology. His involvement as a question formulator added significant academic rigor to the debate, as he leveraged his expertise in psychological analysis to craft questions that challenged the candidates on critical issues relevant to the electorate.
