Focus Group Discussion: Institutional Study of Bank Indonesia as a Digital Central Bank
On 3 September 2024, the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on the Institutional Study of Bank Indonesia as a Digital Central Bank was held at Hotel Kempinski. Organized by the Bank Indonesia Research Center, the event gathered experts to discuss the digital transformation of central banks. Participants included representatives from various institutions, with Hendy Risdianto Wijaya, S.T., M.T., Ph.D., Technology Transfer Specialist from BINUS University, attending on behalf of his institution.
The FGD consisted of four sessions, featuring speakers from BRIN, the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology (Kominfo), Telkom University, and BINUS University, with the latter contributing in the final session. These discussions focused on integrating digital innovations within the operational framework of a central bank, emphasizing the importance of institutional adaptability in the rapidly evolving financial landscape.
