BINUS University Honors Outstanding Contributions with Distinguished Service Employee Awards 2024
In 2024, BINUS University held its annual employee awards to recognize individuals with exceptional contributions. Among the prestigious honors was the Distinguished Service Employee award, given posthumously to the late Prof. Ir. Bahtiar Saleh Abbas, M.Sc., who served as Vice Rector of Research and Technology Transfer from 2013 to 2018. The award was received by Prof. Bahtiar’s family in recognition of his remarkable leadership and lasting impact during his tenure.
Endang Ernawati, M.Lib., also received the Distinguished Service Employee award for her significant contributions as a Publication Specialist from 2014 to 2023. Due to her health condition, Mrs. Endang participated in the award ceremony via video conference. She had dedicated her career to the Research and Technology Transfer, supporting its growth under the leadership of three Vice Rectors: Prof. Ir. Bahtiar Saleh Abbas, M.Sc., Prof. Dr. Tirta N. Mursitama, Ph.D., and Prof. Dr. Juneman Abraham, S.Psi.
