BINUS University and AKHKI Forge New Collaboration in Intellectual Property Management

On September 10, 2024, a significant collaboration was initiated between the Technology Transfer and Research and Technology Transfer departments of BINUS University and the Indonesian Association of Intellectual Property Consultants (AKHKI). This collaboration aims to enhance the integration of intellectual property management within research and technology transfer activities, fostering a robust environment for innovation and intellectual property development.

The video conference, held as part of this initiation, featured key participants including Prof. Dr. Juneman Abraham, Vice Rector of Research and Technology Transfer at BINUS University, and Poppy Sudhanta, Corporate Legal Senior Manager at BINUS Syahdan Campus. Prof. Abraham’s leadership in research and technology transfer was pivotal in setting the strategic direction for the partnership, while Poppy Sudhanta provided valuable insights from a corporate legal perspective, aligning the collaboration with BINUS University’s legal and intellectual property framework.

Dr. Suyud Margono, SH., MHum., FCIArb., the Chairman of AKHKI, also played a crucial role in the meeting.
