The event opened with impactful speeches from key leaders, including Stephen Wahyudi Santoso, President of BINUS Higher Education & Professional Services, who emphasized the importance of global and strategic partnerships. Joining virtually, Dr. Nelly, Rector of BINUS University, and Prof. Dr. Tirta N. Mursitama, Advisor for Collaboration and Global Engagement, further underscored the value of the pentahelix model in fostering cross-sectoral collaboration.

The forum welcomed prominent figures such as H.E. Gina Alagon Jamoralin, the Philippine Ambassador to Indonesia, Prof. Dr. Juneman Abraham, Vice Rector for Research and Technology Transfer, and Dr. Rini Setiowati, Dean – BBS Master Program. Their participation highlighted the forum’s significance in uniting diverse perspectives and expertise to address the pressing challenges of the region. The BJIC featured five specialized conferences, each representing the latest advancements in fields such as engineering, computer science, business, and the social sciences. Among them, the International Conference on Biospheric Harmony (ICOBAR) stood out as a platform for discussing the intersection of digital technology and sustainability. The keynote speaking session at ICOBAR, moderated by Dr. Eng. Fergyanto E. Gunawan, Dean of BINUS ASO School of Engineering, featured esteemed speakers including Dr. Felix Tan from the University of New South Wales and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Manmeet Mahinderjit Singh from Universiti Sains Malaysia, who presented innovative solutions and strategies aimed at fostering a sustainable and innovative digital future.
