The Opening Ceremony of the First Year Program (FYP) for Binusian 2028 at BINUS University marked the official commencement of the academic journey for new students. This significant event, held on 5 August 2024, was simultaneously conducted across all BINUS University campuses, showcasing the institution’s unified spirit and commitment to education. Each campus was interconnected online, allowing for a cohesive and inclusive experience, despite the geographical distances. 

A special emphasis was placed on the proceedings at BINUS International, where a distinguished lineup of invitees graced the event. Key figures included Michael Wijaya Hadipoespito, B.Sc., M.B.A., the Vice President of BINUS Higher Education & Professional Services, and Dr. Drs. Andreas Chang, M.B.A., the Campus Director of BINUS @Senayan. Their presence underscored the importance of leadership and guidance in fostering a supportive learning environment for the incoming students. 

Additionally, prominent academic leaders such as Prof. Dr. Juneman Abraham, S.Psi., M.Si., Vice Rector of Research & Technology Transfer at BINUS University, and Prof. Dezie Leonarda Warganegara, Ph.D., Executive Dean of BINUS Business School, highlighted the ceremony. They were joined by Dr. Rini Setiowati, S.E., M.B.A., Dean of BINUS Business School Master Program, Samuel Mahatmaputra Tedjojuwono, S.Kom., M.Info.Tech., Dean of the School of Computing and Creative Arts, and Dr. Asnan Furinto, S.T., M.M., Deputy Dean of BBS International Undergraduate Program.
