Data is The New Oil: Enhance Your Publications with Scopus-Indexed Data Papers

On August 2, 2024, BINUS University’s Research Innovation Labs hosted an insightful event titled “Data is The New Oil: Enhance Your Publications with Scopus-Indexed Data Papers.” This event aimed to highlight the importance of data in academic publications and provide researchers with the tools to enrich their work using Scopus-indexed data papers. The session featured a lineup of esteemed speakers from BINUS University, including Dr. Rhio Sutoyo, S.Kom., M.Sc., who serves as the Institutional Research and Analytics Manager, Dr. Esther W. Andangsari, M.Si., Psi., the Head of the Psychology Department, and Said Achmad, S.Kom., M.Kom., the Concentration Content Coordinator.

The event was inaugurated with an opening speech by Prof. Dr. Juneman Abraham, M.Si., Vice Rector of Research and Technology Transfer at BINUS University. In his address, Prof. Abraham emphasized the transformative potential of data in driving research innovation and the strategic importance of integrating high-quality, indexed data into academic publications. His insights set the stage for a day of knowledge sharing and skill enhancement for all attendees.

Moderating the event was Dr. Syauqi Abdurrahman, the International Publication Section Head at BINUS University’s Research and Technology Transfer office. Dr. Abdurrahman facilitated engaging discussions and interactive sessions, ensuring a productive and dynamic learning environment.
