BINUS University Hosts Collaborative Event with the Ministry of Health
On July 1, 2024, an important event took place at the BINUS University Anggrek Campus Auditorium, attended by distinguished participants from BINUS and beyond. The key figures included Ir. Bernard Gunawan, Chief Executive Officer of Bina Nusantara; Stephen Wahyudi Santoso, President of BINUS Higher Education & Professional Services; and Prof. Dr. Ir. Harjanto Prabowo, Vice President of BINUS Higher Education & Professional Services, among others. The event was inaugurated by Dr. Nelly, M.M., the Rector of BINUS University, who set the tone with her opening speech. The Minister also visited a special room for research products display with all key figures before going to Auditorium. The date of the event was also the date of BINUS University 43 anniversary.
The highlight of the event was a speech by Ir. Budi Gunadi Sadikin, the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia. Minister Sadikin expressed high hopes for the BINUS community to achieve success and shared insights about the work environment at the Ministry of Health. He emphasized the importance of health and the universal desire for long life and well-being. Additionally, he encouraged BINUS students interested in joining the Ministry to apply, highlighting the need for young talents to enhance the Ministry’s performance. The event organizing was led by Johan, S.Kom., M.M., CDMS, Vice Rector Global Employability & Entrepreneurship
The event also featured a Q&A session, allowing participants to engage directly with the Minister. The audience comes from BINUS University Alam Sutera Campus, BINUS University Malang Campus, BINUS University @Bandung, BINUS University @Semarang, and BINUS University JWC Campus. The primary objectives of the event were to demonstrate the collaboration between the Ministry of Health and BINUS, and to offer opportunities for students from various disciplines such as Visual Communication Design, Information Systems, and Communication Science to join the Ministry. The Ministry particularly seeks talented individuals in these fields to contribute creatively and support system monitoring, maintenance, and branding efforts.
