BINUS University Explores Research and Commercialization Opportunities with Indonesia Investment Promotion Centre in Japan
On June 26, 2024, a delegation from BINUS University conducted a comparative study visit to the Indonesia Investment Promotion Centre (IIPC) in Japan. The delegation was led by Prof. Dr. Tirta N. Mursitama, Ph.D., Vice Rector for Collaboration and Global Engagement at BINUS University. He was accompanied by Dr. Nurlina, M.M., Senior Manager of the Research Office; Brilly Andro Makalew, S.Kom., M.T.I., Digital Specialist in Research and Empowerment; and Dr. Syauqi Abdurrahman Abrori, Head of the International Publication Section.
During the visit, the delegation engaged in discussions with key representatives from the IIPC, including Mohamad Rifana, Director of the IIPC, and Dimas Ramadhan, Deputy Director. The primary focus of these discussions was to explore potential collaborations that could support research initiatives and the commercialization of research products from BINUS University in Japan. This exchange aimed to strengthen ties between BINUS University and the IIPC, fostering greater cooperation and mutual benefits.
The meeting highlighted the importance of international collaboration in enhancing research capabilities and expanding the reach of innovative products. By partnering with the IIPC, BINUS University seeks to leverage the opportunities available in Japan to advance its research objectives and bring its innovative solutions to a broader market. This initiative is expected to not only benefit BINUS University but also contribute to the development of stronger academic and economic ties between Indonesia and Japan.
