Binus University Student Research Expo: Student and Lecturer Collaboration in Research nd Innovation

Research and Technology Transfer BINUS University hosts Student Research Expo, showcasing the works of its undergraduate students who have chosen the path of fulfilling graduation requirements through the writing of scientific articles published in international indexed Scopus journals and conferences. The expo is scheduled for three days, starting from February 19th to February 21st, 2024, at BINUS University Anggrek campus.

Student Research Expo is opened by Vice Rector Research and Technology Transfer, accompanied on stage by Director of BINUS @Kemanggisan Campus, Department Heads, and Senior Manager Research and Technology Transfer Office. The expo commences with addresses and opening remarks by BINUS University leaders. The showcased poster exhibitions and research products represent the collaborative efforts between students and their thesis advisors during the thesis completion period. This initiative aligns with the directives of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology regarding the flexibility of graduate competency standards.

Prof. Dr. Juneman Abraham, S.Psi., M.Si., Vice Rector Research and Technology Transfer, expected that the Student Research Expo would become an important platform for reviving the culture of Socratic-style critical dialogue and strengthening academic collaboration in the midst of post-pandemic challenges, by encourage a sense of ownership among the academic community. It is also expected that this Expo will not only increase the visibility of research from students and BINUS Faculty Members, but also produce researchers who will advocate for research and science in various sectors. BINUS University is committed to fostering and empowering students and academics to support the development of knowledge and innovation in Indonesia.
