Visit To Riken, Japan, FBRC Opportunity To Establish Research Collaboration
FBRC had the opportunity to visit the RIKEN Center for Sustainable Resource Science, Saitama, Japan Friday, (29/09/2023), to discuss research collaboration plans and conduct research visits and discussions, Team Leader Shinya Hagihara Ph.D., and Post Doctoral Researcher Jekson Robertlee, D. Eng., Ph.D., to see the equipment and technology used to support the research and analysis process at RIKEN. RIKEN (The Institute of Physical and Chemical Research) is one of the leading research institutions in Japan. This institute is an independent research organization funded by the Japanese government.
RIKEN plays an important role in the development of science, technology and innovation in Japan and around the world. RIKEN is an institution that is very open to international collaboration. They often partner with researchers and research institutions from around the world on various research projects. RIKEN research centers focus on various scientific and technological disciplines. The RIKEN-Centre covers research in areas such as nuclear physics, life sciences, computational science, nanotechnology, and renewable energy, among others. Dr. Nesti F. Sianipar SP., M.Si as Head of FBRC explained what research had been carried out by FBRC. Through this presentation, the hope is that the research collaboration plan with RIKEN Japan can improve the quality of research and increase publications from FBRC BINUS.
