BINUS University synergy with the National Research and Innovation Agency

On November 22, 2023, Prof. Dr. Juneman Abraham, M.Si. acting as the Vice Rector Research and Technology Transfer, represented BINUS University’s Rector, Dr. Nelly, M.M. in the symbolic signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) concerning the implementation of the Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi (three pillars of higher education) between the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) and Bina Nusantara University.

The signing ceremony took place at the Soemitro Djodjohadikoesoemo Auditorium in the B.J. Habibie Building at BRIN, located at Jl. MH. Thamrin No. 8, Jakarta Pusat. During this event, explanations were provided regarding the Policy Direction for Strengthening the Human Resources Capacity in Indonesian Science and Technology towards Indonesia Emas 2045 (presented by the Head of BRIN), Research and Innovation Talent Management: From Scouting to Maturing Research Talent (discussed by the Director of Research Talent Management at BRIN), and Facilitation of Research Funding (outlined by the Director of Research and Innovation Funding at BRIN).

Faculty members of BINUS University were encouraged to maximize the available programs within BRIN, especially following the establishment of this agreement between the two institutions. This collaboration is aimed at fostering greater synergy between academia and the national research and innovation agency, potentially leading to advancements in scientific research and technological innovation.
