Redefining Research: Embracing Modern Data Collection Techniques

Research and Technology Transfer Office (RTTO) and Collaboration and Global Engagement (CGE) in collaboration with Populix, hosted an enlightening sharing session on November 2nd, 2023, at the Research & Innovation Lab of BINUS University. The event aimed to explore innovative approaches in data collection that could revolutionize the research landscape.

The stage was set with an insightful opening speech delivered by Prof. Dr. Tirta N. Mursitama, Ph.D., Vice Rector CGE at BINUS University. The presence of esteemed participants, including Senior Manager of RTT Dr. Nurlina, M.M., Research Interest Group in Education Technology Prof. Dr. Ir. Sasmoko, M.Pd., representative from Research Center Gregorius Natanael Elwirehardja, M.Kom, and BINUS Faculty Members (FM) added depth to the conversation and reflected the multidisciplinary nature of modern research pursuits.

As a form of cooperation between BINUS University and Populix, a significant segment of the session was dedicated to exploring the role of Populix, a dynamic research service committed to aiding clients and partners, thus facilitating informed decision-making and effective business solutions. Speakers from Populix, including CEO of Populix Dr. Timothy Astandu, Head of Research Indah Tanip, Project Management Officer Seniti Prawira, and Account Manager Arrayan Firdaus, shared valuable insights into the platform’s capabilities.

The primary focus of the sharing session was to introduce Poplite, a cutting-edge research tool from Populix, emphasizing its significance in research activities. This tool promises to redefine data collection methodologies, offering a more comprehensive and efficient approach in gathering primary data. The session successfully showcased how modern research is evolving, emphasizing the importance of leveraging technological advancements to research methodologies.
