Video Research Product Showcase at Binus Research and Innovation Expo 15 June 2023

The focal point of the Expo was the Research Product Showcase, which took place in the lobby and atrium of Binus University’s Alam Sutera Campus. This exhibition featured a diverse range of cutting-edge research products developed by the university’s esteemed faculty members. Attendees had the opportunity to interact directly with the researchers, gaining insights into their work and exploring potential collaborative opportunities. Mr. Bahlil Lahadia, the Minister of Investment/Chairman of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) of the Republic of Indonesia was shown around at Research Product Showcase by Binus University’s Rector, Prof. Dr. Ir. Harjanto Prabowo, M.M. and Vice Rector Research and Technology Transfer Binus University, Prof. Dr. Tirta N. Mursitama, Ph.D.

Research Product Showcase commenced with an atmosphere filled with enthusiasm and anticipation as participants and guests gathered at the lobby of Binus University’s Alam Sutera Campus. Pisang TORPEDO, the somaclonal variation of banana explant; Plastic Brick, the brick that is made from plastic-waste, and Langitara Drone, a specialized program drone were among other research products displayed. The lobby buzzed with excitement as attendees moved from one booth to another, engaging in dynamic conversations with the faculty members who had passionately worked on these innovative projects. The researchers eagerly explained their breakthroughs, demonstrating the real-world applications and potential impact of their work.
