Academic English for Scopus Article Writing

Research & Technology Transfer (RTT) with BINUS Corporate Learning & Development (BCLD), successfully conducted the eighth workshop of the Research Festival 2023 on May 10th and 11th, 2023 with the topic of “Academic English for Scopus Article Writing”. The event aimed to help BINUS Faculty Members master writing effective articles using the IMRAD (Introduction, Method, Result and Discussion) structure, and featured various topics, writing techniques and strategies, language styles, and academic English phrase banks. The workshop was well-attended, with participants from diverse academic backgrounds.

The workshop was hosted by Seera Pudji Adriaansz M. from BCLD, who welcomed the participants and introduced the speaker, Ria Arista Asih, Ph.D, Director of American Corner – Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang. Dr. Asih is a renowned expert in article writing and has extensive experience in teaching academic writing to students and lecturers.

The workshop provided participants with a valuable experience, giving them a comprehensive understanding of effective article writing and the IMRAD structure. The event was well-organized, and the content was engaging and informative. The feedback provided by Dr. Asih was specific and actionable, and participants left the workshop with a deeper understanding of article writing and improved writing skills.
