Visiting Professor at Binus Bekasi Campus

BINUS University Bekasi organized a seminar titled Economic Outlook 2023: Can ASEAN Countries Buck the Global Recession Trend? at BINUS University Bekasi Campus. It was held on the first day of December at 13:00 – 15:00 WIB. The seminar is a discussion on how the ASEAN countries economics is surviving on the global recession triggered by the Covid-19 pandemic.  

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nathakumar Loganathan from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia was invited as the speaker for this seminar to share his knowledge and experience to Binus Faculty Members. Prof. Dr. Tirta N, Mursitama, Ph.D. Vice Rector Research and Technology Transfer Bina Nusantara University and Gatot Soepriyanto, Ph.D., CA., CFE. the Campus Director of BINUS University Bekasi delivered their opening speech for this workshop. The seminar was moderated by Mohammad Ikhsan Modjo, S.E., M.Comm., Ph.D. as the Economist and Analyst from Finance Program BINUS University.  

The seminar was well-presented, and it invited the participants to be involved with the topic through the interactive presentation of Dr. Loganathan. The participants showed their interest in the seminar through a lively questions and answers session. The workshop is expected to grow more interest in analysing the ASEAN economics among Binus Faculty Members that would be useful for the community. It is in line with Binus expectation to foster and empower the society in building the nation.
