Interactive Room for Children with Special Needs

Bina Nusantara University and Krida Wacana Christian University (UKRIDA) have collaborated to build a research product called an interactive room for children with special needs. The interactive room was presented as a gift to Tri Asih orphanage in West Jakarta and is designed to help children with special needs interact with buttons and monitors that display pictures.

The Research and Development Manager of Research and Technology Transfer at BINUS University, Nurlina, S.Kom., M.M., and the Vice Rector of Operational and Finance at UKRIDA, Dr. Oktavia, S.E., M.S.Ak., were welcomed by the chairperson of Tri Asih Foundation, Yenny Margono, when they visited the orphanage to observe and launch the interactive room. The room was developed by Dr. Rinda Hedwig, S.Kom., M.T., and Jimmy Linggarjati, S.Kom., M.Sc., from BINUS University,  and Louis Putra Purnama, Ade Septian Alfianto, and Ivan Tanra, B.Eng., Ph.D., from UKRIDA, all of whom were also present at the launching.

The interactive room is one of the research inventions of BINUS University and is intended to foster and empower the society, with the goal of contributing to the development of the nation..
