Benchmarking Visit to UGM STP

Binus Science and Technology Park (BSTP) has to be visualized in the coming years and to realize that, Binus University is strengthening the technopark spirit in their organizational hierarchy. For that reason, Research Product Commercialization (RPC) Research and Technology Transfer (RTT) Binus University, Binus Collaboration Center (BCC), Binus Development Venturing (BDV), and Global Employability and Enterpreneurship (GEE) Binus University organized an onsite benchmark visit to Gajah Mada University Science and Technology Park (UGM STP), which is managed by The Directorate of Business Development and Incubation (DIT PUI) Gajah Mada University, on August 2, 2022.

UGM STP was represented by Director of Business and Incubation Development of UGM, Dr. Hargo Utomo, M.B.A., M.Com. along with his UGM STP respectable officers in this benchmark study. Vice Rector RTT, Prof. Dr. Tirta N. Mursitama, Ph.D., Vice Rector Global Employability and Entrepreneurship, Prof. Dr. Meyliana, M.M., RPC Section Head Elioenai Sitepu, Ph.D., Research and Development Manager of RTT, Nurlina, M.M., along with other conceptors were attended the benchmark visit.

Binus University was shown around the UGM STP by Dr. Hargo Utomo to see the facilities and displays in UGM STP. Binus University team was thankful for the opportunity of this benchmark visit and appreciated the warmest welcome from UGM STP team.

The establishment of BSTP is expected to be accelerated by this benchmark study to foster and empower the ecosystem of companies, researchers, and academic in Binus University.
