Keladi Tikus harvest with RTT and BINUS Creates

In the spirit of producing Ready-To-Commercialize products, Research and Technology Transfer (RTT) BINUS University along with BINUS Creates visited Lembang, West Java on the 24th of May 2022 to harvest Rodent Tuber plant (Typhonium flagelliforme). This plant is a mutant created by Dr. Nesti Sianipar, and the plant is currently being commercialized as an Anti-Cancer beverage.

Rodent Tuber plant grows in areas around Java Island with the altitude higher than 1.000 above sea level. This plant favor places with high humidity without direct sunlight. As according to the research conducted by Dr. Sianipar, Rodent Tuber has the potential to cure cancer because it has bioactive compound such as hexane and flavonoids.

Although this is just the beginning step in the commercialization process, hopefully this activity can stimulate more commercialization of research products in BINUS University.
