Portfolio & Self-Promotion for Gaining Research Grant

Writing a grant proposal is an obligation for researchers to fund their projects annualy. Most proposals end in rejection, but the rejection gives researchers a chance to learn how to find other opportunities, write better proposals and navigate the system. Researchers have to take time to learn from the setbacks and successes to increase the chances of securing funds.

This was what Dr. Yohannes Kurniawan, MMSI. explained in a workshop organized by Research and Technology Transfer Binus University and Binus Coorporate Learning Development on March 18, 2022. The workshop titled Portfolio & Self-Promotion for Gaining Research Grant. It shared the knowledge and experience of Dr. Kurniawan in his setbacks and successes in securing funds of his research grant application.

The workshop is expected to increase the skill and energy in writing research grant proposal to Binus Faculty Members. Setbacks and successes are always on the way of all researchers while eagerness must continue the journey.
