Analysis, Reconstruction and Establishment Tourist Destination in Toba Samosir, North Sumatera, Indonesia

Abstract

This study aimed to providing input for Tobasa government in preparing strategic development plan of tourist destinations in the District Tobasa. This study is a qualitative approach through in-depth interviews and feedback from forum discussion groups with participants representing community leaders, indigenous peoples, governments and Tourism Industry Tobasa totaling 15 people 1 Juni 2012 at region government office at Balige. Discussion forums formulate nine locations scattered tourist destination in Toba Samosir. Team has formulate four strategic plan with tactical plans as result this research, 1) Specify and establish the location of tourist destinations in the District Tobasa, 2) Submit plans to the provincial government budget or through the district budget Tobasa 5 years starting in 2014 that will come, 3) Conduct of government financing for infrastructure development and participation of the tourism industry itself, 4) Tourism and Cultural Promotion. The limited budget of the District and Provincial Budget also expects domestic investors to encourage the accelerated development of tourism in this area. Most of the proposed activities through cross-sector action plan Tobasa District government agencies and the provincial government.
