Abstract

In the earlier of year 2005, there are around 250 pharmaceutical industries in Indonesia, while in the year 2012 the number of pharmaceutical industries are reduce to below 200 pharmaceuticals industries, one of the main reasons is the regulations controlled by National Agency of Drug and Food Control / Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan (NADFC/BPOM). Hence, one of the regulations stated in NADFC/BPOMs regulation No. HK. 03.1.33.12.12 year 2012, was regarding how to process, produce, maintain and sanitation of the purified water system (generation and looping) for pharmaceutical industries in Indonesia. Meanwhile, purified water system is highly investment and new technology for most of the pharmaceutical industries in Indonesia. In this paper, we try to examine the synergi trade solution, Build Operation Transfer (BOT) Model, that has been successfully implemented before in the public sectors and manufacturing industry as alternate invesment solution to achieve sustanability and competitive advantage. This paper will assess the synergi trade performance of the BOT model in the manufacturing industries and public sectors, and re-adopted to the investment of purified water system for pharmaceutical industries toward complying the CPOB (Cara Pembuatan Obat yang Baik) Indonesia Regulation No. HK. No. 03.1.33.12.12 Year 2012. The sucessful implementation of this model in the ppharmaceutical industry would be help the existing and new pharmaceutical companies to comply with part of National Agency of Drug and Food Control / Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan (NADFC/BPOM) regulation in order to achieve Cara Pembuatan Obat yang Baik (CPOB) in Indonesian pharmaceutical industry, and essentially help pharmaceutical industries, to sustain in their business and achieve competitve advantage in Indonesia market.
