H.E Olivia Leslie

H.E Olivia Leslie graduated from the University of St Andrew (Scotland) majoring M.Litt. International Security Studies in 2002. She was appointed as an Irish Ambassador to Indonesia in September 2018.

Perspectives from an Atlantic nation: Climate Change Mitigation and Industry 4.0 in Ireland

Abstract:
During this talk, Ambassador Leslie will brief on Ireland’s experiences of developing climate action policies. She will explore how holistic approaches to climate action can support sustainability and economic growth, in line with the European Green Deal. This will include an overview of Ireland’s Industry 4.0 Strategy and some of the innovations Irish companies and research organisations have developed, drawing on its island status.
