NVIDIA AI Technology Center (NVAITC) Symposium 2023

After the COVID-19 pandemic, the NVIDIA AI Technology Center (NVAITC) Symposium was held on February 23rd-24th, 2023. This Symposium is the result of a collaboration between NVIDIA as a world technology company, working with industry Representatives and academics to discuss the implementation of NVIDIA technology in AI, big data, and machine learning, as well as research breakthroughs in AI and MetaVerse.

BINUS University as a partner in the NVIDIA AI R&D Center had the opportunity to participate in this symposium. Gregorius Natanael Elwirehardja, a Research Assistant from the Artificial Intelligence Research & Development Center (AIRDC), attended the onsite meeting which took place at the Republic Polytechnic of Singapore.

The event started with industry engagements, followed by presentations by fellow invited speakers as well as industry project showcases by the Republic Polytechnic. Apart from being a networking event for industry players and academics, the symposium’s agenda was centered around Presentations and sharing of research projects from various universities in Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Taiwan, and Japan. There was also an interactive Panel-Audience conversation around:

• Future of AI.M.S : “Impactful AI.M.S (AI x Metaverse x Science) technological directions moving forward”
• Challenges of AI.M.S: “Factors that can impede AI.M.S research and adoption progress”
• Collaboration: “Formation of Regional/International AI.M.S Community to foster ongoing conversation, knowledge sharing, and cooperation”
