Research Result Seminar (Ministry of Education and Culture)
The Center for Policy Research, Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemendikbud) held a virtual seminar entitled “Service-Based Policies to Strengthen Freedom of Learning and Cultural Resilience in the Pandemic Era” on 2-4 December 2020. This seminar presented the outcomes of research, funded by the Ministry of Education and Culture.
Head of AIRDC, Dr. Bens Pardamean presented the results of research entitled “Development of Online Learning Portal Based on Artificial Intelligence in a Team-Based Learning Framework” as one of the “digitizing learning” topics.
The presentation explained the successful development of an AI-based online learning portal as the output of the funded research. The AI can predict the student learning styles and use them for Personalized Learning. The portal also facilitated Team-Based Learning by having an AI to form groups of students with uniformly distributed learning styles. Ultimately the use of the portal significantly increases the performance of students.
