Executives Luncheons with Indonesia AI Acceleration Advisory Board

On 16 October 2019, Dr. Bens Pardamean, the Director of BINUS AI R&D Center, was invited to the Executives Luncheon with Indonesia AI Acceleration Advisory Board. This luncheon gathers the stakeholders of AI in Indonesia in the aim to spearhead the Indonesian AI national strategy. The luncheon was followed with a presentation from Dr. Simon See, the Director and Chief Solution Architect of NVIDIA AI Technology Center. In the presentation, Dr. Simon emphasized the importance of national strategy in countries with successful AI adoption.

Afterward, the discussion was opened by the foreword from Ilham A. Habibie, Dr.-Ing., MBA., the Chief Executive of the Board of National Information and Communication Technology. He pointed out the future impact of AI for Indonesia development. The discussion following the opening from Dr. Habibie was intense with the various opinion from the invited stakeholders on the challenge for AI national strategy in Indonesia.
