Building a Sustainable Coffee Business and Industry

Indonesia Coffee Science Center or we call it Pusat Sains Kopi Nusantara (PSKN) in Bahasa, is the result of collaboration between many parties. And we,  Bioinformatics and Data Science Research Center of Bina Nusantara University play significant role in the development of this institute. This institute will be designed to be an education center of the coffee industry. The knowledge given in this institute will cover from the plantation, pre-processing, roasting to the marketing of coffee. Besides, ISKI will also include AI and genomics knowledge implementation to the coffee industry.

On Wednesday, June 19, 2019, PSKN and INSTIPER Yogyakarta organize the launching of this institute. Forum Group Discussion (FGD) was held with the theme sustainable business system for coffee industry. Our director, Dr. Bens Pardamean, was one of the panelist speaker in this event. Dr. Bens explain the coffee research in the future and industry 4.0 for coffee.

Our partners, Genetic Indonesia and Nodeflux were also invited to this event to present their products.
