The Supercomputing Asia 2018 Conference

Organised by NSCC (Singapore), SupercomputingAsia 2018 (SCA18) is the inaugural annual conference that will encompass an umbrella of notable supercomputing and allied events in Asia. SCA18 will be held from 26 to 29 March 2018.

The key objective is to promote a vibrant and shared HPC ecosystem in Asia, where the most exciting HPC developments are taking place. Delegates will be able to gain access to visionary insights from thought leaders in academia and industry, optimum networking opportunities and the HPC community in Singapore.

One of the co-located events is the discussion on “Towards an Asia Pacific Research Platform (APRP)” in conjunction with the “Asia-Pacific Advanced Network Meeting (APAN45)”, the other co-located event. The agenda is to engage APAN members towards the setting up an Asia Pacific Research Platform (APRP), to facilitate collaboration nationally, within the region and to become part of a Global Research Platform (GRP). As part of this event, Dr. Bens Pardamean, the Head of BINUS AI R&D Center, is invited as a speaker to represent Indonesia in the presentation and discussion of HPC development in Indonesia (https://apan.net/meetings/apan45/speaker.php?id=421).
