Tyherbs, the Functional Drink from Rodent Tuber is presented at Research Showcase NSW 2023
Research Showcase with University of New South Wales 2023 was held at Alila SCBD Hotel, Jakarta, on Wednesday (24/05/2023). The exhibition aims to initiate research collaboration on both a national and international scale. This activity was designed to introduce research and innovation products from Binus Food Biotechnology Research Center (FBRC) researchers and lecturers. FBRC introduced functional drink products from rodent tuber. Tyherbs is a functional drink that benefits health, such as relieving inflammation, improving digestion, and boosting the immune system. The products were well-received and generated a lot of interest from visitors. The exhibition also provided an opportunity for researchers to discuss potential collaborations and research projects. These products have the potential to be commercialized and marketed, and this collaboration can help to facilitate that. FBRC is committed to developing more innovative products that can help to benefit human health. As a free radical antioxidant since it contains high antioxidants to protect against free radicals which can cause damage to cells. It is also beneficial for reducing inflammation and improving digestion. Apart from that, Tyherbs can help increase immunity and relieve breathing. Furthermore, Tyherbs can also reduce stress and anxiety. It can also help to reduce blood sugar levels and cholesterol levels, and can also help to reduce the risk of certain types of cancer. Tyherbs are additionally produced through Indonesian herbal plants which have high anti-cancer compounds so they can be consumed directly for body health. Through this exhibition, Tyherbs can be known in all circles. This will open up opportunities for FBRC and University of New South Wales to collaborate on joint research programs. This collaboration can help to develop more effective cancer treatments and create job opportunities for the local community. Furthermore, it can help to promote Indonesia’s herbal plants to the world.
