Communication of Sexual Education between Parents and Children to Anticipate Violence of Sexual

Discuss of sexuality is influenced by culture. In Indonesia, Many people think that discuss of sexuality is taboo. Indonesian adult people can not open to clearly communicate about sexuality. Communication of sexuality education between parents and children is more complex. Majority of Indonesian parents think education communication of sexuality to their children is taboo. One side, phenomenon of pedophilia always increase every year. Children of victims of sexual experience trauma. Sometime children will get HIV AIDS. In some case, children killed after raped. It is important to anticipate sexual violence to children. Many elements must work together to find problem solving. Parents have important role to anticipate this case. Parents can give some information about sexual education to their parents. Communication of sexual education is required efforts made between parents and children. This research uses communication theory, interpersonal communication and education communication. This research uses qualitative methodology. While the data collection technique is done by conduction in-depth interviews to 3 (three) parents and 1 child. The results of this study , parent must aware of the importance of communicating sexual education to their children. This is due to concerns about the danger of increasing pedophilia. Other parents believe in pedophilia only they do not really know how true sexual education in children. The conclusion of this study is the parents need to communicate sexual education in children. At least parents need to educate children about how to protect themselves.
