Collaboration Initiative between BDSRC and MTMH

On February 6, 2024, Prof. Dr. Bens Pardamean, Head of Bioinformatics & Data Science Research Center (BDSRC) representing BINUS University, and Dr. dr. Mutiara, MHA, MKT, President Director of Murni Teguh Memorial Hospital (MTMH), signed a research Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between BDSRC and MTMH. This MoU aims to establish collaboration in exploring and utilizing the potential of both parties to organize education, research, community service and jointly enhance human resource competencies. Additionally, the MoU encompasses agreements to undertake other relevant activities deemed fit by both parties.

The forthcoming research collaboration will focus on two main areas. Firstly, an analysis of genetic markers for colorectal cancer cases in humans will be conducted, which is crucial for understanding and addressing the disease more effectively. Secondly, the development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in radiology will be pursued, aiming to enhance the accuracy and speed of diagnosing and treating diseases precisely and efficiently. This collaboration is expected to make a significant contribution to medical research and the advancement of health technology.
