Seminar of Intellectual Property Rights & International Law of Big Data Exchange
On September 4th 2017, BINUS University held a seminar entitled “Intellectual Property Rights & International Law of Big Data Exchange”. Research Center invited Dr. Shakeel Bhatti and Prof. Dr. Claudia Seitz, M.A as the speakers. The seminar consisted of two sessions with different topics. The first session was presented by Dr. Shakeel Bhatti from World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in Geneva, Switzerland. He conducted a seminar entitled “Legal and Technical Issues in the Exchange and Use of Bioresources and Related Data”. Meanwhile, the second session was presented by Prof. Dr. Claudia Seitz, M.A. from University of Basel, Switzerland. She presented a seminar entitled “International Law and Challenges of Big Data”.
