MoU and MoA Signing between BINUS University and STMIK AMIKOM Surakarta

On Tuesday, 22 July 2025, BINUS University officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with STIMIK AMIKOM Surakarta, marking a key milestone in advancing impactful research for society and the environment. BINUS was represented by Prof. Dr. Bens Pardamean, Director of the Bioinformatics and Data Science Research Center (BDSRC).

The event opened with a speech by the Chairman of STIMIK AMIKOM Surakarta, Moch. Hari Purwidiantoro, S.T., M.M., M.Kom., who emphasized the significance of this collaboration. He expressed his hope that the partnership would lead to sustainable, long-term cooperation reflecting the shared commitment of both institutions.

Following the signing ceremony, a visiting professor session was delivered by Prof. Dr. Bens Pardamean. He encouraged students and faculty to foster a strong research culture and reminded participants that impactful research often begins with small, deliberate steps. This collaboration is expected to strengthen the research ecosystem, promote innovation, and bridge academia and industry to deliver meaningful, long-term benefits for society and the environment.
