Research Collaboration with Yayasan Jamu Tradisional Indonesia (JATI)

On July 17th, 2024, BINUS University establishes a four-year research collaboration with Yayasan Jamu Tradisional Indonesia (JATI). The partnership revolves around the development of an Indonesian traditional herbal plant database. The realization of this collaboration begins with the signing of a memorandum of agreement (MoA) between both parties at BINUS Anggrek Campus in Kemanggisan. The MoA is signed by Prof. Dr. Juneman Abraham, S.Psi., M.Si as Vice Rector of Research and Technology Transfer on the BINUS University side and Imam Bagus Sumantri, S.Farm., M.Si., Apt. as Chairman on the JATI side. Afterwards, the realization of the agreement and further research possibilities are discussed.

This event is also attended by Dr. Dwiyantari Widyaningrum, S.Si., M.Si., Ir. Diana Lo, S.TP, M.Sc, Ph.D, IPM, and Dr. Nesti F. Sianipar, S.P., M.Si. as a representative from BINUS University Biotechnology Department, Food Technology Department, and Food Biotechnology Research Center, respectively. Also attending in the event are Drs. Sutristo as the Director of PT Mega Medica Pharmaceuticals and Prof. Bens Pardamean, B.Sc., M.Sc., Ph.D as the Head of BDSRC. All these keynote persons contribute their view regarding the collaboration realization during the discussion.
