Visiting Professor on Intellectual Property in Life Sciences

Bioinformatics and Data Science Research Center (BDSRC) hosted a Visiting Professor agenda in collaboration with the International Office of BINUS University from January 15 to January 19. This agenda aimed to exchange expertise and knowledge in the intellectual property of life sciences. The professors invited were Prof. Dr. iur. Claudia Seitz, M.A., Executive Master in Law & AI, a full-time professor at the Private University in the Principality of Liechtenstein (UFL), and Dr. iur. Boris Riemer, a lecturer at the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University. 

January 15, 2024 – The opening ceremony on Monday morning started the agenda of the Visiting Professor program at BINUS Anggrek campus. This five-day event is organized by the Bioinformatics and Data Science Research Center (BDSRC) in collaboration with the International Office of BINUS University to share expertise and knowledge in the intellectual property of life sciences. 

The professors invited are Prof. Dr. iur. Claudia Seitz, M.A., Executive Master in Law & AI, a full-time professor at the Private University in the Principality of Liechtenstein (UFL), and Dr. iur. Boris Riemer, a lecturer at the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University. Binusian Leaders represented by Prof. Dr. Juneman Abraham, S.Psi., M.Si., C.W.P., C.I.R.R. as Vice Rector of Research Transfer & Technology and Prof. Bens Pardamean, B.Sc., M.Sc., PhD as head of BDSRC warmly welcomed the visiting professors and expressed hope that their expertise can contribute to research in BINUS.
