MoU and MoA Signing between BINUS University, Imelda Medan University, & Imelda Pekerja Indonesia Hospital

Bina Nusantara University (BINUS) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with Imelda Medan University and Imelda Pekerja Indonesia Hospital.

The MoU and MoA were signed by the Vice-Rector of Research and Technology Transfer at BINUS University, Prof. Dr. Tirta Nugraha Mursitama, Ph.D., and Chancellor of the University of Imelda Medan, Dr. dr. Imelda Liana Ritonga, S.Kp., M.Pd., MN in Room A0205, Alam Sutera Campus on Tuesday, 30 May 2023.

This activity was also attended by the Artificial Intelligence Research & Development Center (AIRDC) team and representatives from Imelda University Medan, and the Imelda Pekerja Indonesia Hospital. The three parties agreed to collaborate on research in developing Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Tuberculosis Detection. This collaboration aimed to build an AI-based application to perform image recognition of Acid Resistant Bacteria (BTA) and a database to collect sputum/sputum image samples.
