BNCC Uncover Your Skill Workshop: Data Science Case-Based Learning

Gregorius Natanael Elwirehardja, a researcher from the Bioinformatics & Data Science Research Center (BDSRC) of BINUS University was invited as the speaker at the “BNCC Uncover Your Skill” Workshop organized by Bina Nusantara Computer Club (BNCC) on May 26, 2023 and was conducted onsite in the Alam Sutera campus of BINUS University. 

With “Data Science Case-Based Learning” as the main topic, the workshop was aimed to introduce data science cases and provide basic knowledge in the field to students of BINUS University. 

The workshop was held for in the span of two days. On this occasion, Gregorius Natanael Elwirehardja presented an introduction to data science and data mining using Python to the participants on the first day of the workshop. They explored more about data pre-processing and predictive Machine Learning modelling using Python. 

Regardless of their major, participants are given the opportunity to explore their networks with fellow data science enthusiasts, experiment with the provided Python notebooks, and interact with instructors regarding their real-life experiences and learning roadmaps for the data science field.
