Tuberculosis Research Collaboration with Universitas Imelda Medan & Rumah Sakit Imelda Medan

Bioinformatics & Data Science Research Center (BDSRC) Bina Nusantara (BINUS) University received a visit from Dr dr Imelda Liana Ritonga, S.Kp., M.Pd., MN, the Rector of Imelda Medan University along with the team on Tuesday, 21 March 2023 BINUS University, Anggrek Campus.

Welcomed by the head of BDSRC Prof. Bens Pardamean and the whole team. This meeting discussed opportunities for research collaboration related to Tuberculosis (TB) Disease, the plan for this collaboration will be to develop a Tuberculosis disease detection system with an AI approach. Research that will be realized soon involves the support of sputum/sputum samples obtained from the Imelda Hospital in Medan.
