BINUS RESEARCH EXHIBITION

As a contribution to the global community in presenting world-class education and research, Bina Nusantara (BINUS) University established a research exhibition entitled “BINUS Research Exhibition” on 22-23 March 2016. The exhibition was held at Exhibition Hall, Anggrek Campus 3th floor, Bina Nusantara University, Kemanggisan. The participants were 1 research center (RC) and 7 Research Interest Groups (RIGs) which presented their profiles, targets, current and completed research projects. Each of the leader from RC and RIG presented their profiles and research activities. After that, Ir. Bernard Gunawan as CEO of Bina Nusantara, Prof. Dr. Ir. Harjanto Prabowo, MM as rector of Bina Nusantara University, and other Binusian leaders provided suggestions and guidance to help them achieve their goals and targets. Overall, the main purpose of those research activities is to develop national research activities into international level and to increase the amount of high impact researches to achieve the educated and prosperous Indonesian people.

Bioinformatics & Data Science Research Center (BDSRC) as the first and only research center in BINUS University participated in the exhibition to provide information about research activities (8 research projects in progress and 7 completed research projects), innovations, and collaborations in bioinformatics and data science with internal and external partners. BDSRC also presented their roadmap about health, food security, and grant research management to provide an overview about its targets and next research activities. The presentation was presented by Dr. Bens Pardamean as head of BDSRC. The 8 research in progress were:

  7. Amazon Web Services Education Coursework Program
  8. Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) Education Center
