Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing on Rice Research Sukamandi

In conjunction with the research collaboration between Bina Nusantara University and The Indonesian Center for Agricultural Biotechnology and Genetic Resources, Indonesian Agency for Agriculture Research and Development, and Ministry of Agriculture, also as part of a research project supported and funded by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), United Nations, a seminar entitled “Rice School” was held at Indonesian Center for Rice Research, Jalan Raya IX, Sukamandi, Subang, West Java on 18 November 2015.

The seminar presented materials about Indonesian Center for Rice Research organization profile, also information and knowledge about rice (rice science) like type of rice, rice cultivation techniques and strategies, etc. Direct observation (field activity) to rice cultivation owned by Indonesian Center for Rice Research was done as the closing event at the seminar.
