Education Coursework Using AWS Cloud
Context of the project:
The project design to use Amazon Web Service (AWS) as a collection of multiple computing services that serves a collection of remote computing resources. AWS offers IT infrastructure services to business in the form of cloud computing. With the cloud, the applications can instantly spin up hundreds or thousands of servers in minutes and deliver results faster. Moreover, AWS provides a massive global cloud infrastructure that allows users to quickly innovate, experiment, and iterate.
Activities:
- Deploy new application with AWS. AWS allows users to choose the development platform or programming model that makes the most sense for the business. It allows them to focus on innovation instead of infrastructure.
- Store files with Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3). All data is backed up in more than one machine. Amazon S3 can accommodate vast amounts of data and a very large number of simultaneous accesses
- Run a database with AWS. AWS is secure, durable technology platform with industry-recognized certifications and audits. Its services and data centers have multiple layers of operational and physical security to ensure the integrity and safety of data.
- Host a web application with Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2). EC2 infrastructure gives the capability to launch server instances running Amazon Machine Image (AMI), a template that defines your operating environment, including the operating system, as required. EC2 also allows access to multiple data centers (Availability Zones) in multiple geographic regions and makes infrastructure set up quick and easy so users can focus on innovation instead of infrastructure.
