Development of Indonesian Cancer Registry System (CANREG 5)

The aim of this study is to develop a network model for CANREG 5 implementation which is suitable for all of hospital in Indonesia. This study is a qualitative research using methodologies that collect data through interviews with all staffs and clinicians from the five teaching hospital in different provinces in Indonesia. The results of this study are network model architecture for CANREG 5 implementation.  From the study, we found that there are three possible network models of CANREG 5 implementation which can be implemented in Indonesia. They are (1) running CANREG 5 in locally, (2) fragmented network, and (3) integrated network. All of the models can be implemented based on IT resources in the hospital.
