Submission
As indicated by the name of the conference, WE ARE Student, student’s participation is mandatory. Therefore, the submitted manuscript must include at least one student as an either the first author or the corresponding author. For the template, author(s) may select their preferred publication outlet. Authors may select the most suitable publication outlet.
Please note that each conference track has its own designated manuscript template. Submissions that do not use the correct template for the selected track will be rejected.
Track 1: Sustainable Digital Technologies, Data Analytics, & Industrial Innovation
This track covers research related to digital technologies, data analytics, and industrial innovation. It welcomes studies on artificial intelligence, smart systems, digital transformation, optimization, and sustainable industrial practices. Submissions that address current challenges and support sustainable development are encouraged.

Contributions that address current economic and societal challenges are particularly welcome.

Track 4: Data Paper (for Binusian only)
This track covers research from all departments. Authors with research data are encouraged to submit their manuscripts to this track.

Targeted Departments/Faculties: all departments and faculties
For accepted manuscripts, if the content is deemed not fully aligned with the scope or requirements of the preferred publication outlet, the manuscript may be transferred to an alternative outlet at the discretion of the editorial team. Hence, authors will be required to revise the manuscript in accordance with the template and submission guidelines of the designated publication outlet.
The manuscript must be original that has not been published elsewhere and must contain title, abstract, keywords, main text (e.g., Introduction, Experimental, Results and Discussion, and Conclusion), Acknowledgement (optional), Data Availability, Authorship Statement, and References. Please submit your manuscript in .doc or .docx electronically to [Submission Page in CMT].
The Microsoft CMT service was used for managing the peer-reviewing process for this conference. This service was provided for free by Microsoft and they bore all expenses, including costs for Azure cloud services as well as for software development and support.

It is mandatory to provide a brief summary acknowledging on how, why, or when AI used for your research paper if AI being used when you did your research. For example:
I acknowledge the use of ChatGPT to provide a background summary on this topic that I used to inform my basic level of understanding. I also use AI to generate a list of synonyms to help expand my search and suggest some key articles on the topic, which are searched for library search.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) – Generated Text and Plagiarism Percentage
Our policy sets a maximum limit of 40% for AI use and 15% for similarity. Maintaining a low percentage for these points is important to uphold academic integrity and to ensure the paper’s originality. A high percentage can affect the review process.
