Kunjungan Karang Taruna Desa Cangkudu

On Thursday, September 19th 2019, one of RIG Members, Bhernadetta Pravita Wahyuningtyas, S. Sos., M.Si. and assisted by two internship students of RIG CrossComm, Astrid Fahira and Della Novanty, accompanied Karang Taruna Desa Cangkudu to BINUS TV. Team from BINUS TV, Riana Jogi Ahdareni M. S.Ikon., M.Ikom as Mass Communication Laboratory, and Clarissa Septiani as Marketing Division from BINUS TV, was the representative from BINUS TV.

The agenda was accompanied Karang Taruna Desa Cangkudu. We went to BINUS TV and the team from BINUS TV give us an explanation about the history and their company profile. There are people who coordinate BINUS TV, they divided into divisions. First, there are production division, a division that creates a program. This division came with 3 sub division, entertain, feature and internal. Second, news division, a division that provide the latest issues or news, came with 2 sub division current affairs and news. Third, operational division, came with 3 sub division, there are talent and crew coordinator, master control, and technical coordinator. And last, marketing division, came with 4 sub division, new media, marketing communication, account executive, and off-air activity. After that, question and answer session. Karang Taruna Desa Cangkudu showed their enthusiasm, they asked a few questions regarding coordinate a TV program.

After that, they give us an Office Tour. Karang Taruna Desa Cangkudu was very excited. We went to the studio, where all of the program was taken, the production room, a place to create content. Next, meeting room, a room to discuss something with guests. Next to meeting room, there are Dubbing room, a room to record a voice. After that, we went to make up room, and next to make up room, there’s a pantry. Next, news room, a room to create / search a news script and editing a script. Operational and marketing room, this is where editing process and design took place. Last, we went to control room, the broadcast took place here, on the corner of this room, there are master control room, this is the most crucial room, but we’re not allowed to go there because only some people can get in. The purpose of Karang Taruna Desa Cangkudu visiting BINUS TV is to have more knowledge, and some tips and tricks about how to start being a TV Crew since the beginning, knowing that they’re going to start the TV in their village.

Many questions and answers occurred, which made this feel more exciting yet still useful. Last but not least, we didn’t forget to take pictures in order to remember this day event. See you on another occasion, Karang Taruna!
