Kartika Yulianti, Ph.D.

Dr. Kartika Yulianti is a faculty member in Character Building Development Center (CBDC), BINUS University, Jakarta. Her academic and research interests include Character Building-Civics and Pancasila, Teacher Education, Educational Leadership, and Family-School-Community Partnerships. Additionally, Dr. Yulianti has a strong passion in storytelling.

Building on her solid background in Educational Science, Dr. Yulianti has contributed to understanding how the integration of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and project-based learning into Character Building-Civics can enhance students’ graduate attributes. Her research on transformational leadership and parental involvement in children’s education has made a meaningful contribution to the literature, particularly through insights from Indonesian context. Dr. Yulianti is a member of the Editorial Board of The Qualitative Report, a Q1-Scopus-indexed journal based in the United States. She also serves on the Editorial Review Board of the School Community Journal, an American journal that focuses on parental involvement and family-school-community partnerships. Dr. Yulianti regularly participates at international conferences, and her research has been published in reputable journals. As a keynote speaker at ICOBAR 2025, Dr. Yulianti will share insights into the transformative role of higher education in achieving the SDGs.
