Dr. Katarina Smolenova

Dr. Katarina Smolenova is a researcher in functional-structural plant modelling and model comparison. She received her PhD in Informatics from Comenius University in Bratislava in 2011, and her Mgr. in Mathematics and Biology (teacher education) from the same university in 2005. Dr. Smolenova has worked as a Research Associate at the University of Göttingen’s Department of Ecoinformatics, Biometrics and Forest Growth from 2010 to 2015, and is currently a Research Fellow at Ecole Centrale Paris, supported by the German Research Foundation (DFG). She is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at Wageningen University and Research.
