The International Conference on Eco-Friendly and Zero Waste (ICEZ) is an annual academic conference hosted by <\/span>BINUS University @Bandung<\/span><\/strong> through its Research Interest Group of Small Medium Enterprises \u2013 Entrepreneurship and Innovation (RIG SMEEI).<\/span><\/p>\n

Background and Rationale<\/span><\/h2>\n

ICEZ was initiated by BINUS University to actively respond to <\/span>critical environmental challenges<\/span><\/strong> faced by Indonesian and global communities. The conference emerged from the recognition that deteriorating environmental conditions require <\/span>collective responsibility<\/span><\/strong>\u2014not solely placed on end-users, but shared across producers, entrepreneurs, researchers, and policymakers.<\/span><\/p>\n

As sustainability becomes a global agenda, its implementation often remains fragmented, symbolic, or inconsistent across sectors. While “eco-friendly” practices are increasingly adopted, a fundamental question persists:<\/span><\/p>\n
