Their long-term efforts in banana breeding have resulted in the successful development of two superior banana varieties<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"123\" data-end=\"593\"><strong data-start=\"420\" data-end=\"440\">Pisang Torpedo 1<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"445\" data-end=\"465\">Pisang Torpedo 2<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"123\" data-end=\"593\">which have now officially received <strong data-start=\"501\" data-end=\"535\">Plant Variety Protection (PVT)<\/strong> certificates from the Indonesian Ministry of Agriculture.<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"595\" data-end=\"769\">\n<li data-start=\"595\" data-end=\"681\">\n<p data-start=\"597\" data-end=\"681\"><strong data-start=\"597\" data-end=\"637\">PVT Certificate for Pisang Torpedo 1<\/strong><br data-start=\"637\" data-end=\"640\" \/>Certificate Number: 00795\/PPVT\/S\/2025<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"683\" data-end=\"769\">\n<p data-start=\"685\" data-end=\"769\"><strong data-start=\"685\" data-end=\"725\">PVT Certificate for Pisang Torpedo 2<\/strong><br data-start=\"725\" data-end=\"728\" \/>Certificate Number: 00796\/PPVT\/S\/2025<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"771\" data-end=\"1075\">These new varieties are the outcome of intensive research and biotechnological innovation, aimed at improving fruit quality, resilience, and productivity.
